Adding a Co-teacher with your Teacher Dashboard
You can invite additional teachers to join your class with the following steps:
- Log into your individual teacher account.
- Click Dashboard at the top of the screen.
- Select the class you want to add a teacher to. (If you haven’t created a class, you can learn how to do that here.)
- Click Invite a co-teacher.

The co-teacher will get an email letting them know you’ve invited them to the class.
If they don’t have a teacher account yet, they’ll be prompted to create one.
Adding a Co-teacher with Google Classroom
If multiple teachers import the same Google Classroom roster, they will automatically become co-teachers for the class within BrainPOP. There is no need to send out an additional invite.
You can also use the invite flow through the Teacher Dashboard to share the class with a teacher who isn't using Google.
Adding a Co-teacher with Clever or Classlink
Co-taught classes that are synced through Clever or Classlink will be automatically shared in BrainPOP. No further action is necessary.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a limit on the number of co-teachers that can be added to a class?
Yes. Classes can have a maximum of 10 teachers.
Can Co-Teachers be added by BrainPOP administrators?
Unfortunately not. Managing classes can only be done by the teachers who own the class.
Do invites expire?
If no action is taken by the invited teacher, they will receive a reminder email every 5 days with a new link until they either accept the invite or they are removed by the teacher who sent the invite.
Can co-teachers join a class from a different email address than the one the invite was sent to?
No. Co-teachers must join a class using the same email where they received the invite.
