Check that BrainPOP traffic is allowed on your network
If your network uses a firewall or content filter, we recommend ensuring that traffic to BrainPOP is allowed. Here are some helpful best practices for accessing BrainPOP on a secure network:
-
Add BrainPOP domains to your permitted list: Ensure that
*.brainpop.comdomains (all URLs with a domain ending in dot brainpop dot com) are added to your network's permitted list and allowed in any content filters. - Avoid geographic filtering: Exclude all BrainPOP domains from rules that employ geographic filtering on network activity.
- Use domain-based permissions: Because CDN providers like ours commonly employ dynamic IP addressing, we discourage use of specific IP addresses to permit network traffic to and from BrainPOP and encourage use of domain-based permissions as described above.
Troubleshooting site issues on iPads, tablets, and mobile devices
If you BrainPOP subscription and you are trying accessing BrainPOP on an iPad, tablet, or mobile device, we recommend using your mobile browser rather than using the App Store app. We are optimized for Google Chrome or Safari mobile browsers.
