Accessing Movie Projects
There are a few different places to locate Make-a-Movie projects.
Teacher Make-a-Movie: If you have created a movie project on your individual educator account, you can find all of your projects saved under My Projects in your Dashboard. Clicking All My Projects will allow you to view all projects.
Assigned Student Make-a-Movie: If you've assigned a Make-a-Movie feature in an assignment, once the student has submitted their finished project, it will show up in the assignment in your Dashboard. On the assignment, click the Make-a-Movie tab on the left and click View Work on a submission to view that movie.
Unassigned Student Make-a-Movie: If a student completed a Make-a-Movie project that you did not assign to them in BrainPOP, they will need to have submitted that project to your class in order for you to access it easily. In this scenario, the submitted project will appear in your class under Free Submits. Just go to the class in question, filter by Free Submits, and locate the project. All available free submissions will be found here.
- Please note that if the student did not submit the project to your class, you will only be able to find it in their Timeline. Click the class in your Dashboard, click View Students, and click the student's name that you're looking for. You'll be able to view their Timeline tab, where you can search for the submitted project.
Downloading Movie Projects
A submitted student movie project can be downloaded directly from the Teacher Dashboard. Teacher-created movie projects are not eligible for download. Locate the student movie following the steps above and click Download in the lower right of the screen. The next screen will process the download and confirm when it's complete.
The downloaded movie is in MP4 format.
