Instructions for Teachers
If you already know your school’s Educator Code, follow these steps:
- Go to BrainPOP.
- Click Log In at the top of the screen.
- In the drop-down list select “I’m a grown-up”
- Select the “Enter Code” tab
- Enter the Educator Code and click Submit.
- Complete the form and click Create Account.
- You will receive an email with an activation link.
- Click the link in the email to activate your account and log in.
If you don’t know your school’s Educator Code, here’s how to request it:
- Go to BrainPOP.
- Click Log In at the top of the screen.
- In the drop-down list select “I’m a grown-up”
- Select the “Enter Code” tab
- Select "Request an Educator Code"
- Enter your school email address, first and last name, and your school's zip code.
- Choose your school from the drop-down menu below and select Request Code.
If your plan administrator is out of date, Contact Us.
Instructions for Admins
If you are an admin and you need to find your school's code you can:

Log in to your admin account and click Admin Dashboard in the top navigation bar.

3. Share this code with educators at your school. They can follow the instructions above to use the code to create their accounts. They will only need to use the code once.
To protect student data, do not post the school code in a public venue or share it with anyone who is not an authorized educator at the school, district, or board of education holding the plan.

What if you do not see your school listed?
If your school isn’t listed, please reach out to your admin directly or contact us.
What to do if the Educator Code provided does not work?
First, please make sure that the username you are trying to use is not taken already. Usernames are not case sensitive. A username must be unique in our database and contain at least 3 characters. Username may contain letters, numbers, and the following symbols: -.@_+.
Another reason the Educator Code may not work is if you already have an account associated to your email address. You can contact us and we will be more than happy to assist you with resetting your credentials or assigning your account to the correct school.
