Online Self-paced Courses are a great professional learning option that allows educators to complete on their own schedule. There are courses available for BrainPOP Junior, BrainPOP ELL, BrainPOP Science, BrainPOP Espanol, BrainPOP Francais, and two courses for BrainPOP 3-8 –Build Knowledge and Demonstrate Knowledge. The courses help teachers get started by providing an overview of the different resources available within each platform. Check with your Customer Success Manager to see if the courses are included in your subscription.
Live 30 or 60 minute webinars guide teachers through the theory and mechanics of building a better lesson with BrainPOP. BrainPOP C&I strategists lead the webinars, customizing the content by subject area and grade level. By the conclusion, participants have new understanding of BrainPOP, and a plan for incorporating BrainPOP into lessons they can use right away!
Half-day and full-day workshops are customized to address your specific needs. Partner with a dedicated professional learning strategist to discuss challenges, goals, and initiatives unique to your individual schools or entire district or select from BrainPOP’s existing workshops. Live Professional Learning Events
Connect by BrainPOP is a BrainPOP hosted virtual event held twice a year (Back to School and Winter) for subscribers. During these events, educators, instructional/tech coaches, and admin have a chance to connect with BrainPOP on a deeper level and get inspired to partner with BrainPOP to impact students. The events often feature special guests such as Certified BrainPOP Educators or experts in the field.
BrainPOP-ups are a series of 30 minute sessions that share quick, practical strategies for educators. BrainPOP C&I strategists dive into BrainPOP lesson planning tips, engagement strategies, and instructional strategies to support all learners in the classroom. These series typically run in the Fall and Spring each year.
