BrainPOP is dedicated to creating the most engaging and impactful learning experiences for all learners. As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance and evolve our platform, we are retiring original BrainPOP games and access to partner games within BrainPOP products.

You may continue to access partner games via their platforms. Please see below for additional information.

If a BrainPOP game is not working on your device, here are some troubleshooting steps to try first.

Clear Your Cache and Cookies

If the site appears to be loading incorrectly, clear the cache and cookies on your browser.

Google Chrome:

1. Open Chrome.
2. On the browser toolbar, click the Chrome menu.  
3. Click More tools > Clear browsing data.
4. In the box that appears, click the checkboxes for Cookies and Other Site Data and Cached Images and Files.
5. Use the menu at the top to select the amount of data that you want to delete. Choose All Time (or Beginning of Time for older versions) to delete everything:
6. Click Clear Data (or Clear Browsing Data for older versions).
7. Close out of the browser and then reopen.

Mozilla Firefox:

1. Open Mozilla Firefox.
2. Click the menu  .  Choose History, then Clear Recent History.
3. Click the dropdown menu and select Everything.
4. Click the arrow next to Details to select what information you want to clear. Make sure to include both Cookies and Cache.
5. Click Clear Now.
6. Close and reopen the browser.

Internet Explorer 11:

1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. In the upper right corner, click the gear icon  and choose Internet options
3. In the General tab, under Browsing history, click Delete.
4. Uncheck Preserve Favorites website data.
5. Check Temporary Internet Files, Cookies and website data, and History.
6. Click Delete.
7. When finished, click OK to return to your Internet Explorer window.
8. Close the Internet Explorer window and reopen.

Apple Safari:

1. Click Safari in the upper left side of your screen. In the menu that appears, click Preferences.
2. In the window that appears, click the Privacy tab, then Manage Website Data. Click the button Remove All.
3. Click Remove Now in the pop up window that appears.

Check the Blocked Websites on Your Network

Your school or DOE may be unintentionally blocking the URL of the game you are trying to load. We’ve asked our partners to look in to registering with services such as Lightspeed. Schools may be using these services to filter websites. Registration can help prevent these URLs from being blocked.
