Creating Students with SSO integrations
As an admin, you can set up an integration with another application that will facilitate Single Sign-On (SSO) as well as account creation for students. Find out more in this article: Get Started with Integrations.
Creating Students via CSV Upload
CSV uploads are temporarily unavailable while we make some improvements. This work may take some time, but educators can still create their own accounts and add students to their classes.
School and District administrators with access to the Admin Dashboard can bulk upload educator accounts via CSV. See these articles:
After uploading student accounts for your school, your teachers can invite students to join their classes.
Creating Student Accounts via the Class Code
Teachers can create classes and invite students to create their own accounts via a teacher-generated Class Code.
NOTE: Students must belong to at least one class in order to access the school’s BrainPOP plan with their individual account.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can students use the Educator Code to create accounts?
No. Students should not be given the Educator Code at any time. For students to join a class, teachers can generate a Class Code, which is a special code only for students to use.
