If you’re a plan administrator for a schoolwide plan, you can create educator accounts for your school or district. You can choose to use one of our SSO integrations, upload your teachers via CSV, or distribute a code that teachers can use to onboard themselves.

Creating Accounts with SSO Integrations
As an admin, you can set up SSO via Clever, G Suite for Education, or an LTI tool that can be used for SSO in any Learning Management System that supports LTI tools. Clever automatically provisions and updates teacher accounts.
G Suite and LTI solutions provision individual accounts on demand. Teacher and student accounts are created the first time they use the SSO.
The G Suite integration also supports rostering through Google Classroom. Teachers can import their Google rosters on demand, simplifying the student account creation process.

Creating Accounts via CSV Upload
CSV uploads are temporarily unavailable while we make some improvements. This work may take some time, but educators can still create their own accounts and add students to their classes.
Individual account school administrators can use the Admin Dashboard to upload educator accounts via CSV.
After uploading educator accounts for your school, each teacher receives an activation email with a username and temporary password to get started.

Creating Accounts via the Educator Code
There is an educator code unique to a BrainPOP that you can provide to educators.
To see it, go to your admin dashboard:
From the admin dashboard, click "School Info":
The educator code will be at the top:
For teachers to set up their own accounts, provide them with your unique school educator code, and have them follow these steps:
- Go to BrainPOP.
- Click Enter Code at the top of the screen.
- Enter the educator code and click Submit.
- Complete the form and click Create Account.
- Receive an email with an activation link.
- Click the link in the email to activate your account and log in.
Frequently Asked Questions
We use both G Suite and a Learning Management System. Can we set up integrations with both?
No. We can only support a single integration at a time. We recommend that you select the integration that the most users at your school or district can access. If you’re not sure which integration is best for you, contact us.
Will SSO integrations work for teachers who set up individual accounts before the integration?
Yes. If teachers already have individual educator accounts, they can link accounts to their G Suite or LMS identity the first time they log in via G Suite or the LMS.
